Finding a Qualified Painting Contractor

Just because someone can paint doesn’t mean they should. Many homeowners make the mistake of thinking all painters are created equal. We are here to tell you first hand they are not. On several occasions we have been hired to come in and either finish or repair what another “painter” had started.

What should you expect from a painting contractor? Well, we can’t speak for all, but here is what you can expect from us:

  • We are licensed and insured.
  • We will give you a detailed proposal of the scope of the job.
  • We will care for your home like it is ours.
  • We will completely protect all your belongings, including covering all flooring, furniture, windows, bushes, sidewalks, etc.
  • We will remove all switch plates and electrical plates before painting.
  • We will drop and/or remove all light fixtures before painting.
  • We will sand all woodwork to achieve a smooth, glass-like surface when possible.
  • We will repair small surface flaws, patch, and caulk when needed.
  • We will pressure wash, prime, double/triple-coat if and when needed.
  • We will never water down products to make a larger profit.
  • We will use only premium products from Benjamin Moore.
  • We will clean up after ourselves and remove all garbage from the job

Remember that just because someone offers you a “good deal” doesn’t mean it will withstand the test of time in our Southwest Florida environment. Ask questions and make sure you are comfortable with whomever you hire.
